(387 words) A teacher is that person who meets on our way at the very beginning. Our interest in learning depends on his efforts and talents. Also, thanks to his sensitivity and attentiveness, we discover in ourselves new facets and opportunities, we can believe in ourselves. There are a great many images of teachers in literature, both good and bad, but I would like to write about positive examples for all representatives of this profession.
In the story "French Lessons" Valentin Rasputin created a wonderful image of a teacher. The main character has difficulties in life due to the fact that the family was poor. He decides to play “chika” for money in order to feed himself, but this is noticed by Lidia Mikhailovna and decides to carefully help the boy. First, the teacher invites him to her home, trying to feed him, then sends a parcel of groceries on behalf of his mother, but soon realizes that this is all useless, and plays by the student’s rules: she teaches him to play the game of her childhood - “a wall”, so that the boy I was able to win money and spend it on food. Her participation rescued the hero in difficult times. The woman was not even afraid to risk a job for the sake of fulfilling her true duty - to help students get out into people.
In the story of F. Iskander, “The Thirteenth Feat of Hercules,” Kharlampy Diogenovich was a formidable teacher, whom everyone feared was ridiculed. With one phrase, he could make fun of a student, so much so that the shameful stigma stained his reputation. But he did not do this in order to humiliate someone. This measure helped him to cultivate positive qualities in schoolchildren and to wean them from vices. This happened with the main character. He did not prepare the task and hid it in every possible way, but the teacher understood and ridiculed his cowardice. The next time the boy was ready for the lesson. Thus, humor was more effective than moralizing.
Another example is the hero of the story of L. Tolstoy's "Childhood". Karl Ivanovich loves his students very much, puts a soul into their upbringing. Sometimes he is strict, Nikolai even takes offense at him, but soon realizes that the old man is kind to him, so he strives so hard to put useful knowledge and skills into him. His students become attached to him so that they don’t even want to leave the city without him to continue their studies.
Thus, all authors notice that it is not enough for a teacher to be an expert in his field, you need to truly love your work and approach all children with tenderness, because their future depends on how and what the teacher will teach them. Therefore, all the teachers depicted are sensitive, responsible and the boundless kindness that students always feel.
